Why I Recommend MultiCharts for 2021

System Trading

Mar 16

I have recently moved from developing in Tradestation to Multicharts. I am still trading through Tradestation but I have moved my development to Multicharts. Why?

Because simply Tradestation won’t update their software. It is built on a very antiquated 32 bit architecture that cannot use the 64 BIT multi-core benefits of modern PC’s. Multicharts is multi-core, 64 BIT, and uses an almost identical scripting language called Powerlanguage. Plus, they have updated the charts and other functionality.

I highly recommend it for serious developers. Do you know a serious backtesting platform for 2021 that can do something the others cannot? Let me know.
